Musk Threatens Lawsuit Against Former ‘Squad’ Member Who Labeled Him ‘Nazi,’ ‘Thief’

Following a recent appearance on CNN, former Representative Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.), who was part of the far-left Democratic “Squad” in the House, labeled President Donald Trump’s chief adviser a “Nazi” and a “thief.” In response, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has indicated he may pursue legal action.

Musk expressed his frustration on X, stating, “I’m done,” and announced, “Lawsuit inbound,” in reaction to a clip from Bowman’s latest roundtable discussion aired on CNN.

Bowman, who was defeated by a centrist pro-Israel candidate in the Democratic primary last July, criticized Musk during the panel, asserting that “Elon Musk is incompetent in his role and the American people do not trust him.”

He elaborated, “How do we know? It was contested in court because they terminated tens of thousands of employees. Those individuals are returning as mandated by the court.” He further claimed, “He lacks competence. He is a thief. He’s a Nazi,” reiterating that Musk does not have the public’s trust.

Musk has faced accusations from left-leaning media of performing a “Nazi salute” to a crowd on the day of President Trump’s inauguration. In response, Maye Musk, his mother, urged him to take legal action against CNN and other media outlets for what she characterized as a false and defamatory narrative.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), a fellow member of the “Squad,” echoed similar unfounded accusations last month, referring to Musk as a “Nazi nepo baby.” In the July Democratic primary for New York’s 16th Congressional District, Bowman, a former member of the progressive “Squad” of left-leaning House Democrats of color, lost to George Latimer. Reports suggest that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a prominent pro-Israel lobbying organization, spent millions to sway voters against Bowman, who had accused Israel of committing “genocide” during its conflict with Hamas.

In 2023, Bowman was officially censured by the House of Representatives for triggering a fire alarm in the Capitol during negotiations over a government shutdown, an act that was widely viewed as a disruption.Accusing someone of a crime is not without risk. By allowing guests to make potentially defamatory remarks repeatedly and without challenge, CNN places itself at risk of legal repercussions, Ngo stated.

“Attack him!” wrote Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, on his personal X account, asserting that defamation against conservatives must be confronted or it will persist indefinitely.

“Strike back!” added Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C.

With the GOP majority in the U.S. House hanging in the balance, Musk and voter registration advocate Scott Presler are intensifying their efforts to motivate Republicans to participate in a pivotal Supreme Court election in Wisconsin, a key battleground state.

Brad Schimel, a conservative candidate for the Supreme Court, is set to receive $1 million from America PAC, a political action committee founded by Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, to support Trump’s 2024 campaign.

Additionally, Building America’s Future, another organization backed by Musk, has invested $1.5 million in advertisements promoting the conservative candidate.

His opponent, liberal judge Susan Crawford, is vying for the same position; the outcome will influence the power dynamics within the highest court of this critical swing state.

This situation is crucial because if Crawford wins, the court’s existing liberal majority of 4-3 will remain intact, likely leading justices to approve a gerrymandering of the state’s congressional districts that could cost Republicans at least two seats in the U.S. House and potentially shift control to Democrats in 2026.
