Speaking to Fox News Channel’s Martha MacCallum about her case against woke New York Governor Kathy Hochul, Trump Attorney General Pam Bondi roasted the woke governor and joked that she is very unhappy at the prospect of facing a DOJ-led suit over her awful behavior.

As background, AG Bondi, announcing that she was taking action against Gov. Hochul in a February 12 press conference, said, “We’re here today because we have filed charges against the state of New York. We have filed charges against Kathy Hochul. We have filed charges against Letitia James and Mark Schroeder, who is with DMV.”

She then noted that her DOJ will take action to aid Americans, much in contrast to past DOJs, saying, “This is a new DOJ, and we are taking steps to protect Americans, American citizens and angel moms.” The Trump AG further added, describing why she was going after woke Hochul, “New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. It stops today. We sued Illinois. New York did not listen. Now you’re next.”

Hochul, amongst her many responses to Bondi’s charges, declared that Bondi and the Trump Administration were “corrupt” for dropping charges against Eric Adams. Such is what she said when speaking to Rachel Maddow, telling the woke MSNBC host, “This is not supposed to happen in our system of justice. The bondage administration in that department of justice is already showing they’re corrupt.”

Quoting her and commenting on her comments in an interview with Bondi that followed Hochul’s MSNBC appearance, Martha MacCallum said, “Last question for you, because it’s getting a lot of attention, at least here in New York. The governor of New York, Kathy Hochul very upset about the dropping of the charges against Eric Adams, saying that the internals of the case were not properly reviewed. This is what she said last night to Rachel Maddow.” She then rolled the tape of Hochul calling Bondi corrupt.

Responding, AG Bondi joked that Gov. Hochul is obviously upset about getting sued by the DOJ for what her state has been up to with its Green Light Law, saying, “Yeah. Well, first, she’s not very happy that I sued her yesterday. We sued her and Leticia James and DMV in New York.”

Continuing on the same point, AG Bondi noted that her DOJ is going after the weaponization of the law in New York, saying, “So she’s not happy over that we sued her two days ago, actually, so she’s not happy about that. But listen, we have a right to protect against weaponization in New York and every state in this country, and also national security.”
